L’episodio nella zona della Tofana di Rozes. Diverse le persone coinvolte
Una valanga si è verificata a Cortina, nella zona Tofana di Rozes, sopra il rifugio Giussani, a circa 2.500 metri di altitudine e avrebbe coinvolto diverse persone. Secondo il soccorso alpino, che è già al lavoro, un ragazzo di 27 anni residente nel Bellunese è morto e il fratello è rimasto ferito. La vittima è stata trascinata a valle per 200 metri. A provocare la tragedia sarebbe stato un lastrone di neve e ghiaccio staccatosi da una parete della montagna e piombato su un gruppo di scialpinisti.
L’intervento
I soccorsi sono affidati agli uomini del Soccorso alpino della Guardia di Finanza, del Soccorso Alpino e ai carabinieri. Nella zona il tempo era ottimo ed erano presenti numerosi escursionisti. Sembra che la vittima fosse in compagnia di un congiunto. Un testimone ha dichiarato che nella zona erano presenti un centinaio di persone. Il ragazzo stava risalendo con gli sci nella zona del Pilastro. In molti stamane si sono recati sino al Rifugio Angelo Di Bona e da lì stavano sciando lungo il vallone della Tofana.
