Una scossa di terremoto di magnitudo 3,9 (inizialmente clasificata a 4.0 dall’Ingv) è stata registrata dall’Istituto nazionale di geofisica e vulcanologia a 2 chilometri a Nord-Est di Gubbio. La scossa è stata avvertita dalla popolazione, anche a Perugia. Secondo i dati dell’Istituto nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia il terremoto è avvenuto a una profondità di 10 km. “Dalle verifiche effettuate fino a ora dalla Sala situazione Italia del dipartimento non risultano danni a persone o cose”. Lo comunica in un tweet la Protezione Civile. Sono tre le repliche registrate fino ad ora dall’Ingv dopo la scossa di terremoto che si è verificata questa mattina alle 9.56 con epicentro a Gubbio. La magnitudo di questa prima scossa, che è avvenuta a dieci chilometri di profondità, inizialmente indicata come 4.0 dall’Ingv, è stata ricalcolata a 3.9. Due minuti più tardi, alle 9,58, si è verificata una prima replica, di magnitudo 2,1. Alle 10,07, terza scossa, di 3.1 e alle 11.14 un’altra di 2,3.

Tutte sono avvenute a nove o dieci chilometri di profondità e nel raggio di uno due chilometri da Gubbio. E’ sospeso dalle ore 10 il traffico ferroviario sulla linea Orte-Ancona, a Fossato di Vico, nella zona di Gubbio. I disagi coinvolgono, informano le Fs, l’ IC 534 (Roma-Ancona) con 73 persone a bordo, il treno Regionale 4153 (Ancona-Roma) con 150 persone. “La scossa è stata avvertita dalla popolazione, è stata breve ma intensa. Ora siamo in contatto con la Protezione Civile per valutare la situazione, e con i nostri uffici stiamo facendo tutti i controlli e le verifiche del caso sugli edifici pubblici. Al momento non abbiamo segnalazioni di danni”. A dirlo all’Adnkronos il sindaco di Gubbio, Filippo Stirati. “Proprio oggi qui avremmo dovuto avere la Festa dei Ceri che anche quest’anno non è stato possibile celebrare – ricorda – per via della pandemia, per il rischio di assembramenti”.
