Il Governo ha impugnato l’ordinanza del presidente della Sicilia Nello Musumeci che prevede la chiusura degli hotspot e dei centri di accoglienza per migranti presenti sull’isola. Lo apprende l’ANSA da fonti governative, secondo le quali il ricorso è già stato notificato alla controparte e ne è in corso il deposito presso il Tar della Sicilia.
Alla base dell’impugnazione la considerazione che la gestione del fenomeno migratorio è competenza dello Stato, non delle Regioni. “Quella firmata dal governatore Nello Musumeci – ha detto in mattinata il ministro per il Sud Provenzano – è un’ordinanza priva di ogni fondamento giuridico. Il motivo? Perché interviene su una materia sulla quale la Regione o il presidente della Regione non ha alcuna competenza. E visto che è una persona che conosce le leggi e di esperienza temo che sia soltanto il manifesto di propaganda e polemica politica. Non vorrei che si utilizzassero i problemi della Sicilia per fornire argomenti alla campagna elettorale di Salvini nelle altre regioni. Tutto questo non sarebbe accettabile”.
