In Germania, Klaus-Dieter Maubach, direttore della Uniper ha definito le parole di Putin “ il vaccino contro i prezzi alti del gas”.
Il fatto è che la Ue è passata alla politica dei contratti per il gas a breve termine e al commercio presso la borsa del gas.
Il commercio del gas in borsa non è efficace ed è gravido molti rischi – ha detto Putin – perché il gas non è come gli oggetti o il petrolio che si può produrre e conservare in attesa del momento buono del mercato”. Ci sono stati molti tentativi di addossare la colpa della crisi del gas in Europa alla Russia, la solita stupida politica della russofobia, “l’Europa è ostaggio della Russia”, “la Russia usa il gas come un’arma”. Oggi il segretario di Stato americano Antony Blinken ha chiesto alla Russia di “non usare il gas come un’arma in politica estera”, colpisce molto il cinismo di chi ogni giorno usa come arma non solo le sanzioni e il dollaro, ma anche i bombardamenti degli Stati sovrani!
Ma la Russia non deve niente a nessuno in Europa, perché Gazprom è un fornitore affidabile, da 50 anni porta il gas in Europa e ha sempre adempiuto a tutti gli impegni presi e alle clausole dei contratti. Putin ha precisato che «Gazprom non ha mai rifiutato di aumentare le forniture di gas all’Europa, se richiesto».
Putin ha aggiunto che la Russia aumenta le forniture di gas all’Europa attraverso l’Ucraina, superando i volumi concordati in base al contratto di Gazprom con Kiev, nonostante il pompaggio attraverso l’obsoleto sistema ucraino non sia vantaggioso per la Russia.
Il problema è nato dal fatto che la Gran Bretagna ha portato i partner europei alla scelta di liberalizzare il mercato del gas e di rifiutare i contratti del gas a lungo termine, poi i britannici se ne sono lavati le mani abbandonando la Ue ma alla fine tutti quanti sono caduti nella rete che da soli hanno steso.
