Sono state confermate dalla Prima Corte d’Assise d’Appello di Roma le condanne, per oltre 150 anni di carcere, nei confronti di 17 imputati al maxi processo contro il clan Spada del litorale romano di Ostia, con il riconoscimento dell’associazione a delinquere di stampo mafioso. Ergastolo confermato per Roberto Spada, mentre sono state ridotte le condanne per Carmine Spada (17 anni) e per Ottavio Spada, detto ‘Maciste’ (12 anni e mezzo), entrambi condannati all’ergastolo in primo grado. Confermata la condanna a 16 anni per Ottavio Spada detto ‘Marco’ e quella a 10 anni inflitta in primo grado a Ruben Alvez del Puerto. Otto anni per Ramy Serour mentre Vittorio Spada è stato condannato a 7 anni. I giudici hanno condannato inoltre a 6 anni Silvano Spada.

I giudici hanno inoltre condannato, riducendo lievemente le pene per alcuni, tra gli altri a 6 anni Nando De Silvio, Daniele Pergola, Alessandro Rossi, Saber Maioli, mentre Fabrizio Rutilo è stato condannato a 7 anni di carcere. Cinque anni per Claudio Fiore e Mauro Caramia, mentre Mauro Carfagna è stato condannato a 2 anni e 11 mesi. Il pg Francesco Mollace aveva chiesto la conferma dei tre ergastoli inflitti in primo grado a Carmine, Ottavio e Roberto Spada, già condannato in via definitiva per la testata a Ostia al giornalista della Rai Daniele Piervincenzi. In primo grado, il 24 settembre 2019, la Terza Corte d’Assise di Roma aveva inflitto 17 condanne e 7 assoluzioni.
