I media hanno riferito: “Si prevede di dotare l’aviazione navale della Flotta del Nord con il sistema missilistico ipersonico “Kinzhal”, in grado di colpire bersagli di mare e di terra ad una velocità che rende poco realistica l’intercettazione del missile da parte della difesa aerea nemica. Probabilmente i vettori del missile saranno i caccia MiG-31, in servizio all’aviazione navale della Flotta del Nord e dislocati presso l’aeroporto di Monchegorsk, nella regione di Murmansk”.
