Iran e Russia estendono l’accordo di cooperazione globale fino a marzo 2026 e rafforzano la loro alleanza strategica di fronte alle sanzioni occidentali.
La Repubblica Islamica dell’Iran e la Federazione Russa hanno rinnovato questo venerdì per altri cinque anni il loro Trattato sui Principi delle Relazioni e sui Principi di Cooperazione firmato il 12 marzo 2001, come annunciato dall’ambasciatore iraniano a Mosca, capitale russa, Kazem Yalali .
Il ministero degli Esteri iraniano ha celebrato il 20 ° anniversario della firma dell’accordo di cooperazione globale tra Teheran e Mosca e sottolinea che l’evento coincide quest’anno con lo scambio di “messaggi importanti” tra il leader della rivoluzione islamica dell’Iran, l’Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei e il presidente russo Vladimir Putin.

Attraverso una dichiarazione, il ministero degli Esteri iraniano ha considerato la Russia “un amico e un vicino potente”, con il quale sostiene la promozione di una cooperazione in tutti i settori “basata sul rispetto reciproco”.
Grazie alla determinazione dei leader di entrambi i paesi, le cooperazioni Teheran-Mosca sono ora più strette che mai e avvantaggiano gli interessi della regione dell’Asia occidentale e del mondo intero, si legge nella nota.
Iran e Russia “rifiutano le sanzioni unilaterali e disumane” imposte dalle potenze egemoniche, “si oppongono all’interferenza occidentale negli affari interni di altre nazioni” e sollecitano il mondo a rispettare il diritto internazionale.
All’inizio di questo mese, l’ambasciatore russo in Iran, Levan Dzhagaryan, ha consegnato un messaggio di Putin al consigliere per gli affari internazionali del leader della rivoluzione islamica dell’Iran, Ali Akbar Velayati , durante un incontro a Teheran.
È la risposta del presidente russo a un “messaggio importante” del leader iraniano su “questioni strategiche” per i due Paesi, consegnato a febbraio durante una visita in Russia del presidente del parlamento iraniano, Mohamad Baqer Qalibaf.
Durante l’incontro con l’ambasciatore russo, Velayati ha considerato Russia e Iran “importanti amici e vicini stabili”, che intrattengono relazioni strategiche in vari campi e ha sottolineato che la vittoria della Siria nella lotta al terrorismo è un esempio di efficace cooperazione tra Teheran e Mosca.
