Diverse “strisce” luminose hanno colorato il cielo prima dell’alba con colori che andavano dal blu all’arancione. Numerose strisce verticali “lucide” sono rimaste visibili nel cielo fino all’alba, suscitando la curiosità e lo stupore di numerose persone che si sono riversate all’esterno per immortalare l’incredibile fenomeno.
Lo strano fenomeno non ha scatenato alcun panico tra la gente del posto, poiché manifestazioni simili non sono troppo rare alle latitudini settentrionali. L’effetto spettacolare è creato dal riflesso della luce su minuscoli cristalli di ghiaccio che sono sospesi nell’atmosfera o formano nuvole d’alta quota.
