Come confermato dal cyber ricercatore Dave Walker, tra i dati personali rubati e pubblicati in un forum compaiono il nome, l’ubicazione e le informazioni sul matrimonio di Zuckerberg, nonché la data di nascita e l’ID utente Facebook del fondatore della rete.
“L’ironia è che, purtroppo, anche Mark Zuckerberg è incluso nella fuga di notizie”, afferma il ricercatore in un tweet, in cui suggerisce ai giornalisti che vogliono ottenere una dichiarazione da Facebook sul furto di dati che possono “fare semplicemente una chiamata” .
Dati personali simili sui cofondatori di Facebook, Chris Hughes e Dustin Moskovitz, sono inclusi anche tra le informazioni rubate riporta il Daily Mail.

La fuga di notizie e la risposta di Facebook
Le informazioni rubate includono nomi utente completi, numeri di telefono, ID Facebook, luoghi, date di nascita, informazioni biografiche e in alcuni casi indirizzi e-mail, tra le altre informazioni, secondo Alon Gal, chief technology officer dell’azienda Hudson Rock, che è stato il primo a scoprire la perdita.
La fuga di notizie ha colpito utenti in più di 100 paesi inclusi oltre 32 milioni di record di utenti Internet negli Stati Uniti, 13 milioni in Messico, quasi 11 in Spagna, 8 in Brasile, lo stesso numero in Perù e quasi 7 milioni in Cile.
Da parte sua, la portavoce di Facebook Liz Bourgeois ha minimizzato la notizia, sostenendo che si tratta di dati “vecchi” e che la vulnerabilità relativa alla perdita di dati era già stata risolta nell’agosto 2019.
