Record su record, il cambiamento climatico non arresta la corsa e in 10 anni in Italia si è manifestato con 946 fenomeni metereologici estremi in 507 Comuni; solo nei primi 10 mesi del 2020, ci sono stati 86 casi di allagamento da piogge intense e 72 casi di trombe d’aria, in forte aumento sul 2019. Lo ha rilevato l’Osservatorio CittàClima di Legambiente (con un’analisi fino a ottobre 2020) evidenziando che sono fenomeni in costante crescita, come emerge dal Rapporto 2020 “Il clima è già cambiato”, presentato in un webinar organizzato dalla stessa associazione.

Fra le città più colpite è clamoroso il caso di Roma, dove dal 2010 a ottobre 2020 si sono verificati 47 eventi estremi, 28 dei quali riguardanti allagamenti per piogge intense e poi Bari e Agrigento dove ci sono state anche trombe d’aria e Milano dove sono anche esondati i fiumi Seveso e Lambro.
