E’ previsto per il prossimo 9 marzo la data in cui la prima Corte d’Appello di Roma sentenzierà sul ricalcolo delle pene per i 20 imputati del processo Mondo di Mezzo, per i quali la Corte di Cassazione aveva disposto il rinvio non avendo riconosciuto il reato di mafia.
In 13 hanno concordato la pena con la procura generale. Tra gli altri, hanno deciso di scegliere questa strada l’ex consigliere regionale di Forza Italia, Luca Gramazio (5 anni e 7 mesi), l’ex ad di Ama, Franco Panzironi (3 anni e 6 mesi), Carlo Guarany (2 anni e 7 mesi), Roberto Lacopo (4 anni e 7 mesi e 3.600 euro di multa), Riccardo Brugia (6 anni e 5.500 euro di multa), Fabrizio Franco Testa (5 anni e 9 mesi), Matteo Calvio (5 anni e 7 mesi e 5.100 euro di multa), Carlo Pucci (4 anni) e Paolo Di Ninno 3 anni 8 mesi 10 giorni. Il procuratore generale Pietro Catalani aveva chiesto di condannare, tra gli altri, Massimo Carminati a 11 anni e un mese, e Salvatore Buzzi a 12 anni, 8 mesi e 20 giorni di reclusione. In primo grado Salvatore Buzzi era stato condannato a 19 anni di reclusione e Massimo Carminati a 20 anni. In secondo grado, venne riconosciuta l’associazione mafiosa ma le pene erano state riviste al ribasso con Carminati che venne condannato a 14 anni e mezzo, e Buzzi a 18 anni e 4 mesi.
