Si tratta del sistema Ivas (sistema integrato di potenziamento visuale), che Microsoft sta sviluppando con le forze amate staunitensi da circa tre anni. Il dispositivo integra degli speciali occhiali HoloLens, già in commercio, con dei servizi informatici a distanza (in cloud) in grado di “facilitare la condivisione di informazioni e il processo decisionale in una varietà di scenari”, secondo quanto reso noto da Microsoft.
