Quel fatidico 6 aprile 2009 ha visto inginocchiarsi davanti alla forza di un terremoto l’Aquila e la sua provincia.
Ieri per la prima volta, a causa dell’emergenza coronavirus, non si è tenuta la consueta fiaccolata molto partecipata con parenti delle vittime e cittadini al termine della quale si scandivano i nomi di chi alle 3.32 di quella domenica delle Palme perse la vita sotto le macerie.
Gravissimo il bilancio che fece registrare un totale di trecentonove morti, milleseicento feriti e circa ottantamila sfollati.
Il nostro ricordo va a tutte le famiglie di italiani distrutte dal sisma e a tutte quelle che ancora oggi lottano per risollevarsi in piedi nonostante il periodo di forte crisi che stiamo attraversando.
